Beginner Blacksmithing 101 Workshop

In this workshop you will be introduced to the basics of forging. It is a good opportunity for people who have never never done any forging before to see and try the techniques behind blacksmithing. This workshop starts with some demonstrating, then allowing for free forging time to try and get the hang of the process of forging. It is a perfect opportunity to dip your toes in the water of blacksmithing and see if you would like to have more in-depth instruction in the future.

Journey Women: Blacksmithing Workshop
Price: $175 | Online Deposit: $87.50
In a "typically masculine trade/hobby" women may not feel there are an abundance of safe places to learn the craft and try something new like blacksmithing. This workshop provides a safe space for women to be introduced to, and try, the art of blacksmithing and to be encourage by other women along their Journey. There will be a female blacksmith instructor as well as the main instructor, Chris Frostad, present.

Private Blacksmithing Course
Price: $400 | Online Deposit: $200
Whether you are a beginner or have some forging experience, this is an opportunity to get 1 on 1 instruction and have the content based on your specific project goals. This can range from doing the basic forging content, to working on 1 specific project that can fit within an 8-10 hour timeline. All content will be based on artistic blacksmithing or tool making and therefore will be able to be used in more versatile situations.

Couples Private Course
Price: $500 | Online Deposit: $250
This is an opportunity for couples to have a unique date experience. Get 1 on 1 instruction and have the content based on your specific project goals. This can range from doing the basic forging content, to working on 1 specific project that can fit within an 8-10 hour timeline. You can work together to learn a new skill and create something together that can last for years to come. All content will be based on artistic blacksmithing or tool making and therefore will be able to be used in more versatile situations.

Schedule A Course
Cancellation Policy
If the participant withdraws from the course more than 14 days before their scheduled course date, they can choose to register for another, or reschedule their course, or request a refund of the deposit.
If the participant withdraws from the course within 14 days before their scheduled course date, they will not receive a refund and their slot or scheduled day will be forfeited.
If the participant is unable to make their scheduled date and wishes to transfer their slot or date to a friend or relative with no financial penalty, email chris@frostyforge.com so that the new participant can discuss the content of the course.
